Double Trouble Barbershop was founded in 2024 by lifelong Eugene local Jan Larson. A proud graduate of North Eugene High School and the University of Oregon—where she pursued both a pitching career and earned her B.A. in Psychology—Jan brings a blend of athletic grit, creativity, and passion to everything she does.
A licensed barber since 2012, Jan recently rebranded and reclaimed ownership of Double Trouble, planting deeper roots in the community she loves. Her dream? To make this barbershop her forever chair, with at least another decade of great cuts and greater conversations ahead.
Before picking up the clippers, Jan worked extensively with youth in various roles. Her natural flair for fashion, her love for expressive hairstyles, and her entrepreneurial spirit led her right to where she belongs—behind the barber chair, connecting with people every day.
Walk into Double Trouble and you’ll step into a space that’s part retro, part classic, and all character. It’s not just a cut—it’s an experience. Customers can enjoy a curated selection of spirits while waiting, relax in one of two cozy lounge areas, or pass the time with vintage board games, coloring books, and even an old-school Atari.
